Dr Iresha graduated in MD in 2018 from University of Western Australia. Since then, Dr Iresha has worked in major hospitals in Perth and Melbourne across multiple fields such as general medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics and rehabilitation, surgery, paediatric medicine and mental health. Dr Iresha moved back to Melbourne in 2021 following where she started GP training, achieving her fellowship in 2025.

Dr Iresha’s special interests are women’s health and chronic disease management but enjoys all aspects of general practice. Fluent in both English and Sinhala.

Hobbies include spending time with family, travel and cooking.
