Patient Information

If you are a new patient, please make a long appointment of 30 minutes, and complete and submit our new patient registration form at your first appointment. When you arrive please return the form to reception and let us know you are here.

Standard appointments are up to 15 minutes and you will be able to discuss 1-2 presenting issues in this time.

Long appointments are 15-30 minutes and you will be able to discuss more than 1-2 presenting issues or more complex issues in this time.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments so we can give the appointment to someone else.

Patients requiring a repeat prescription or referral can either make an appointment with their regular doctor or use our repeat script or repeat referral request via our AMS app.

Patient results are reviewed by your individual doctor when they are received. Your doctor or nurse will contact you by SMS or phone call if they wish to discuss your results.

Langpark Health is a private billing practice and payment is required at the time of the consultation. Each independent medical practitioner determines their patient fees at the time of the consultation and is at the discretion of each practitioner and not that of Langpark Health. A discounted fee is available to current Pension and Health Care card holders. Bulkbilling is available for childhood immunisations and DVA patients. Medicare rebates are processed to your nominated bank account directly after your payment is received.

Please discuss any concerns about billing with your doctor.

Sometimes, appointments can occasionally run overtime and it effects the timing of your appointment. We appreciate your patience and understanding if your doctor is not consistently on time and the staff will endeavour to inform you of delays when known.

Between 8pm add 11pm, please call the practice and you will be directed to the doctor on call.

After 11pm weeknights and on weekends and public holidays, Hello Home Doctor Service provides an afterhours service on 134 100.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency call 000 immediately.

For emergencies or urgent issues please contact reception directly on the phone (03) 9789 5966.

If you have a non urgent message for your doctor, please call reception and the message will be sent to your doctor for a response.

Emails are not a secure method of communication so we encourage you to call the practice instead so that a message can be sent to your doctor. If you do need to send an email, it can be sent to reception@langparkhealth.com.au where it will be attended to by reception staff within 1-2 days.

Langpark Health uses a secure SMS reminder system for preventative health screenings appropriate to your care. If you would prefer not to take part please let your doctor or the administration staff know.
